ChildDomino is designed to help you notice, understand and nurture what is developing in your child. One small step at a time. Here is how we approach that responsibly.
Built around your child
ChildDomino's guidance is shaped by what you tell us about your child: their age and stage, assessment responses, strengths, interests, learning preferences, challenges, your observations, their progress and, where you choose to invite one, teacher insight.
As your child grows and you add new observations, recommendations can change too. We do not predict your child's future. We simply help you spot what might be worth trying next.
Safety comes first
Activities and Life Skills guidance are designed to be appropriate to your child's age and development. Life Skills can cover areas such as personal safety, what to do if lost, road safety, emergencies, fire safety, online safety and growing independence.
These activities support, but never replace, parental supervision, professional advice, school safeguarding or emergency services.
Where an exercise involves information such as an address or telephone number, we encourage you to practise this offline with your child. ChildDomino does not ask you to enter or store your child's actual address, memorised phone numbers, passwords or banking details.
Guidance, never labels
We help you notice possibilities, not define your child.
- •ChildDomino does not diagnose medical, psychological, developmental or educational conditions.
- •It does not predict what a child will become.
- •It does not permanently label children based on an assessment.
- •It does not guarantee particular educational or developmental outcomes.
Assessments, profiles and comparisons are tools for understanding and inspiration, never fixed identities. If you have concerns about your child's health, development, learning or wellbeing, please speak with a qualified professional.
You're always in control
ChildDomino provides suggestions, not instructions. You decide what is right for your family. You can:

- •request another Today's Domino
- •decide when your child is ready for a Life Skill
- •add your own observations
- •decide whether to invite a teacher
- •review teacher contributions
- •keep adapting support as your child develops

Private by design
Your child's profile is private. ChildDomino does not create public child profiles, rankings or leaderboards. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide the service.
