Terms & Conditions

These terms explain what ChildDomino provides, what it does not, and what we each agree to. Highlighted placeholders are details still to be confirmed.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1.Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you create an account or use ChildDomino. By signing up or using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ChildDomino.

ChildDomino is a trading name of Quad Dynamic Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 12976232. Our registered office is 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom.

2.Eligibility and parent/guardian responsibility

ChildDomino is for adults. You must be at least 18 and be the parent or legal guardian of any child you add, or have that person's permission to act on their behalf.

You are responsible for how ChildDomino is used within your family, including deciding which suggestions and activities are suitable for your child.

3.Account registration and security

  • Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private and use a strong, unique one.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • Accounts are for one household. Do not share your login publicly.

We may ask you to confirm your email address before you can use certain features.

4.Information you enter about your child

You choose what to enter. You confirm you have the right to provide that information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You do not need to use your child's full real name, and you should not enter sensitive real-world security information such as home address, memorised phone numbers, passwords, PINs or bank details.

The quality of the guidance depends on the information you provide. Incomplete or inaccurate information will produce less useful suggestions.

5.Multiple child profiles

You can add more than one child, subject to the limits of your plan. Each child has their own profile, assessment, snapshot, courses and progress. Information is not mixed between siblings.

6.Child assessments and Child Snapshots

The assessment is completed by you as the parent or guardian, based on your own observations. It has no right or wrong answers and no score.

The Child Snapshot is a supportive summary of patterns based on what you have entered. It is a starting point for conversation and action, not a test result, a measurement of ability, or an assessment of any kind carried out by a professional.

7.Today's Domino

Today's Domino suggests one small practical action at a time, based on your child's profile, your feedback and any approved teacher input. Suggestions are optional. You decide whether an activity is appropriate, when to do it, and whether to skip it.

8.Life Skills

Life Skills provides age-appropriate guidance on everyday independence, safety awareness and practical skills. Progress is recorded as a status you set. See Life Skills & Safety for important safety points.

9.Tailored courses

Tailored courses are generated for your child using the information in their profile. They are practical parenting and development guidance, not accredited education, formal curriculum, tuition or qualifications.

Course content may vary between children and over time as profiles are updated. We may change, replace or retire course content.

10.Parent diary and observations

Your diary is a private space for your own notes and observations. It is visible to you inside your account and is used to help refine suggestions. Please keep entries respectful and avoid recording information about other people that you do not have a right to record.

11.Progress tracking

Progress features, including streaks and completed activities, are there to encourage gentle consistency. They are not a measure of your child's ability or of your parenting, and missing days has no negative consequence.

12.Teacher invitations and contributions

  • You choose whether to invite a teacher, and you may withdraw an invitation at any time.
  • Invitation links are private and time-limited. Share them only with the intended teacher.
  • Teachers do not need an account and complete a short form.
  • You review and approve teacher contributions before they influence your child's guidance.
  • Teacher input reflects that teacher's own view and is not verified by ChildDomino.

By inviting a teacher, you confirm you are happy for them to see a short snapshot of your child in order to give relevant feedback.

13.Guidance, Not Diagnosis

ChildDomino provides educational, developmental and parenting guidance. It is important that you understand what it is not.

ChildDomino does not:

  • Diagnose children or identify conditions of any kind.
  • Provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic or clinical assessment or advice.
  • Replace teachers, schools, doctors, psychologists, therapists, social workers or any other qualified professional.
  • Guarantee any particular developmental, educational, behavioural or life outcome.

If you have concerns about your child's health, development, learning or wellbeing, please speak to a qualified professional. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read on ChildDomino.

14.Life Skills & Safety

Life Skills activities are educational guidance for you to practise with your child. They do not replace:

  • Your supervision as a parent or guardian.
  • School safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Emergency services or emergency advice.
  • Professional safety, road safety, first aid or safeguarding training.

You remain solely responsible for deciding what is age-appropriate and safe for your own child, and for supervising any activity. Activities involving roads, water, tools, cooking, money or being out independently should be judged carefully and supervised as appropriate.

ChildDomino does not require, and you should not enter, your child's real address, memorised phone numbers, passwords or banking details. These are practised offline; we record progress only.

15.Subscriptions and payment

Some features may require a paid plan. Current plans and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change; we will give notice of changes affecting an active subscription.

  • Payments are processed by [Payment provider name].
  • Billing cycle: [billing cycle and renewal terms].
  • Taxes: [VAT / tax treatment].
  • Refunds: [refund policy, including any statutory cooling-off period].
  • Free trials, if offered: [trial terms].

Where paid plans are not yet enabled, the platform is provided free of charge and no payment is taken.

16.Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the account moves to the free level of access. Cancelling a plan does not delete your account or your data. See the Privacy Policy for deletion.

17.Appropriate use

Use ChildDomino to support your own children or children in your care, in a way that is kind, lawful and respectful of them.

18.Prohibited misuse

You must not:

  • Use the platform to record or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing or harmful to a child.
  • Enter information about a child you have no right to enter information about.
  • Share teacher invitation links publicly or with people they are not intended for.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Scrape, copy, resell or redistribute platform content.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt or attempt to break the security of the service.
  • Use the platform to provide professional assessment, diagnostic or clinical services to third parties.

19.Intellectual property

ChildDomino, including its name, logo, design, written content, frameworks and generated guidance structures, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the content for your own family's personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, resell or distribute it.

20.Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you enter. Profiles, assessment answers, diary entries and notes.

You give us permission to store and process that content so we can operate the service and generate your child's personalised guidance. We do not sell your content and we do not publish it.

21.Privacy and children's information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including a dedicated Children's Privacy & Data section. It forms part of these terms.

22.Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep ChildDomino available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical issues or third-party outages may affect availability.

The platform is developing. We may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially affects how you use the service, we will give reasonable notice.

23.Suspension and termination

You can stop using ChildDomino at any time and ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts other users or children at risk. Where it is appropriate and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right.

24.Limitation of liability

ChildDomino is provided as guidance and support. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from decisions you make based on suggestions in the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Where liability can lawfully be capped, our total liability is limited to [liability cap, e.g. Amounts paid in the previous 12 months].

25.Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have to bring a claim locally as a consumer.
